Decision 42 Extrait de Parfum — Amouage is an intense amber-woody aromatic fragrance created by perfumer Quentin Bisch. A 42% concentration interpretation of the original Decision, it explores the image of a juniper tree struck by lightning—transforming the impact of destruction into a deeper sense of strength, survival, and renewal. Amouage intensifies the composition with neroli, cardamom, and cinnamon in the opening, while juniper is given a darker, smokier character through pine tar, patchouli, and Javanol. Vanilla and labdanum add warmth and depth to the drydown. 

It opens with pink pepper, bergamot, cardamom, neroli, and cinnamon, creating a bright, spicy, and sparkling introduction. At its heart, frankincense, juniper, myrrh, sandalwood, and rectified pine tar create a smoky, resinous, woody character. As the fragrance settles, patchouli, cedarwood, vanilla, and labdanum create a warm, deep, balsamic base with a smooth sweetness.
